The three partner festivals Bolzano Film Festival Bozen, Euganea Film Festival and Pordenone Docs Fest, with the support of IDM Film Commission Südtirol, Trentino Film Commission, Veneto Film Commission, Friuli Venezia Giulia Film Commission, and the collaboration of the FVG Audiovisual Fund, launch the 3rd edition of Nord/Est/Doc/Camp, the consultancy and tutoring workshop for four medium- and feature-length documentaries produced or co-produced in the North-East, which after two editions has established itself as a unique event and opportunity for producers and authors from the Tri-Veneto region.
Registrations are open Starting Wednesday, December 18, the deadline for submitting projects is February 7, 2025.

Nord/Est/Doc/Camp proposes a feedback path, networking and training In stages, through partner festivals, the project aims to provide directors and producers with the expertise of selected experts in an informal setting. This will take place through a series of meetings and workshops aimed at maximizing the potential of films in progress: from editing to post-production, from festivals to distribution. The goal is to strengthen the profile and dramaturgy of the works and broaden their dissemination and distribution prospects.
The project is aimed at documentary films and hybrids (non-fiction) in the editing phase, products or co-products by companies based in Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with an expected final duration of more than 45 minutes.
The first two editions saw the participation of 8 projects, including in 2023 Lisca bianca – Nata libera by Giuseppe Galante and Giorgia Sciabbica (produced by Ginko Film) and The Other Side of the Pipe by Marko Kumer (produced by Incipit Film), both premiered at the last Visioni dal Mondo festival in Milan, and Vista mare by Julia Gutweniger and Florian Kofler (produced by Albolina Film), presented at the Locarno Critics' Week and numerous other international festivals, winner of the award for Best Italian Documentary at the Festival dei Popoli, distributed by Trent Film; among the projects of the 2nd edition, the first to debut was Noi siamo gli errori che permette la vostra intelligenza by Erika Rossi (produced by Ghirigori), winner of the Audience Award at the PerSo – Perugia Social Film Festival 2024.
