The Vincenzoni Association's initiative will kick off from November 25th to 29th. “Film Week. Treviso Films of Yesterday and Today“.
A packed calendar of events to showcase the strong ties between the Treviso area and the city of Treviso and the seventh art.
The Veneto Film Commission will participate with a special event at the Edera Cinema Thursday November 27th at 8:00 PM with the director Francesco Sossai, which precedes the 9.00pm screening of his film Le città di pianura.
The “Luciano Vincenzoni Competition for Film Subjects” was established in 2015 by the Department of Culture of the City of Treviso with the aim of remembering and honoring the Treviso-born screenwriter Luciano Vincenzoni, who passed away in 2013, and – at the same time – to bring out and promote young talents interested in undertaking a professional and artistic path in the world of cinema.
The organizers of the Competition established, in 2018, a cultural association, called Luciano Vincenzoni Association, with the aim of promoting cultural initiatives in the field of cinematography and, in particular, to assume, in collaboration with the Department of Culture, the management of the Competition.
Starting from the 5th Edition 2019, a "Music Section" will also be available for musical compositions to be adapted to film sequences. Therefore, the Competition will be entitled "“Luciano Vincenzoni Competition for Film Subjects and Music“.
