It is now in progress 19th edition of the Cortinametraggio Festival, in Cortina, from 12 to 17 March.
Founded by Maddalena Mayneri and directed by Niccolò Gentili, the Festival is entirely dedicated to short films, and presents a rich plan of Italian screenings, but also American ones with the selection Made in USA, ranging from feminist themes to comical or deeply dramatic ones.
The Festival will also feature many audiovisual professionals, whose meetings will focus on identifying new artistic and production forms of cinema.
Among these, we mention the meeting with the director and acting teacher, member of the Actors Studio, Danny Lemmo, and the meeting with Julius Base, director and artistic director of the next edition of the Turin Film Fest.
The initiatives are then enriched by two special events: the screening of the short film Remo by Marco Simon Puccioni, and by Little things of unquantifiable value by Paolo Genovese.
The participation of the Film Commissions, including the Marche, Campania, and Veneto Film Commissions, was a must.
The Festival's initiatives don't end here: to consult the complete programme, click here, or visit the official website by Cortinametraggio.
