Synopsis

The Symbology professor Robert Langdon wakes up in a hospital in Florence afflicted with a gunshot caused amnesia. A few days earlier, the billionaire Bertrand Zobrist had tried to cause a plague epidemic in the city, but had been stopped by the police. Doctor Sienna manages to bring Langdon to safety, while the man has apocalyptic visions centered on Dante's Hell. Forced to investigate, Langdon finds himself following numerous clues from Florence to Venice, unaware that he is approaching a terrible danger.
