Synopsis

Two parallel episodes: in the first the story of a German bourgeois family of Nazi ideals, whose young offspring Julian leads a flat and idle existence, hiding a perverse secret. In the second, a man wanders on the slopes of Etna in the sixteenth century, killing and eating small animals, feeling pleasure and pain at the same time. Soon the hunt no longer satisfies him and he begins to crave human flesh.
