From the 10th year of Laguna Sud, “Laguna Film Lab” was born, the artistic residence of real cinema curated by ZaLab which begins with Laguna Sud and ends with the Giornate degli Autori.
From 18 August to 2 September 2024 in Chioggia, during the 10th edition of Laguna Sud – Cinema outside the Palace, will be held Laguna Film Lab, an artistic residence of real cinema, coordinated by ZaLab, which will end with the screening of the short films made in Chioggia, at the Auditorium San Nicolò, and at the Lido of Venice, in the Sala Laguna, as part of the 21st edition of the Giornate degli Autori, in a special event organized in collaboration with SIAE.
The call to participate is open to young European authors under 35 with experience in filmmaking, writing, photography, or animation.
Four will be selected and during the two-week residency they will have to produce a short film of real cinema lasting a maximum of 8 minutes.
The theme of the residency is “PIERCING” understood as a place of waiting, meeting, border and illusion.
