Panoramic natural environments

Alpe di Campogrosso is a resort in the province of Vicenza that lies at an altitude of 1,464 meters, in the heart of the Little Dolomites. Alternating between pastures and vertical rocks, the scenery offers striking views in both summer and winter. The area is of considerable natural and historical interest, with traces dating back to World War II, and lends itself to various sporting activities (trekking, climbing, mountaineering, mtb etc.). Of particular note is a loop itinerary, which involves three hours of walking and touches on the various local malghe: malga Fondi, malga Storta, malga Pra di Mezzo, malga Boffetal, and malga Campogrosso. Alpe di Campogrosso is recognized as a Site of Community Interest (SCI), is part of the Special Protection Area (SPA) Monti Lessini - Pasubio - Piccole Dolomiti Vicentine and of Rete Natura 2000, the European Union's main tool for biodiversity conservation.
