Presentation

Also known as Loggia del Consiglio (Council Loggia), it is considered to be the brightest and the most enduring achievement of Renaissance in Verona. It was built under the dominion of the Venetian Repubblic (1492) and it is structured into two symmetrical levels: the refined loggia rests upon a white stone basement consisting of large steps, and is sustained by six thin coloured Corinthian columns alternating shades of white, red and light blue, which emphasize the monumental ensemble.
