Presentation

This suggestive group of mountains is located on the border between Conca Agordina and the valley of river Biois, between the Municipalities of Taibon Agordino and Cencenighe Agordino. They take their name after Saint Lucano, also known as ?the Apostle of the Dolomites?, who, as people say, chose to live in the valley underneath them. Their cliffs, completely vertical on the side facing Conca Agordina, are maybe the most emblematic example of the origins of the Dolomites, formerly coral atolls.
