Parco Querini

Panoramic natural environments

Querini Park is a large green space of more than 120,000 square meters in the historic center of the city of Vicenza. With its vast expanse of lawns and a rich grove, the park retains its 18th-century setting, most evident in the long central avenue punctuated by statues and sculptures. The walk through the park has as its point of arrival the small lake, at the center of which a circular islet has been created; sealing it off is a small Ionic temple, graceful neoclassical architecture from 1820. Part of the garden, on the other hand, was laid out in the 19th century according to Romantic taste. Near the Rodolfi entrance is also the Science Park, seven playful-educational attractions for children, useful for understanding physical phenomena, such as light reflection, vibrations, frequency of sounds and optical illusions.
