Presentation

The beach of Scano Boa, in the municipality of Porto Tolle (RO), is a long tongue of golden sand, reachable only by sea, that constitutes the historic scanno of the Po delta, the easternmost and jutting out into the Adriatic. The area is characterized by an unspoiled and wild landscape. Here one can admire the last casoni, typical reed constructions used by fishermen and hunters, as well as birds of all kinds, from waders, oystercatchers, fraticelli, and coral gulls, to scouting foxbills, a very particular species of duck that is widespread here. The sea is clear and blue, with sandy and sloping seabed.
