Presentation

Unspoiled nature just a few kilometers from major communication routes, large spaces where deer and roe deer live undisturbed, forests and open pastures dominated by elegant dolomite massifs: Zoldo is an authentic valley, partly still wild. Those who relate to its mountains can delve into spaces between nearby, grandiose rocks, or come across vast openings with distant massifs capable of conveying a wide breath. In summer, the valley turns into a fascinating destination for high-altitude hiking, on Pelmo, Civetta or the Moiazza group. Among the many possible destinations, the ascent to the foot of the Pelmetto, allows you to see the footprints of the Dinosaurs, footprints of prehistoric animals dating back 250 million years. In winter, it is a destination for downhill skiing, mountaineering, cross-country skiing, and thanks to the new Palafavera platform, biathlon.
