This itinerary ideally links all the literary sites encompassed by the Collina Estense Literary Park: the castle of the troubadours who composed their verses in praise of Beatrice; the archway that Falconetto built for Cornaro, patron of Ruzante; former Villa Kunkler, where Shelley wrote some of his most important works; until Calaone, where it is also possible to take a detour to the former Monastery of Salarola. Along the way you will find some of Este's most interesting architectural landmarks, such as Villa Vigna Contarena and Palazzo del Principe, as well as valuable natural features like the historical pine wood and the indigenous flora.
