The fiction “Don't leave me” will be broadcast on Rai 1 from January 10, 2022 for a total of 8 episodes in four prime time evenings.
Co-produced by Rai Fiction and PayperMoon Italy, directed by Ciro Visco, sees as protagonists Vittoria Puccini, Alessandro Roia and Sarah Felberbaum.
“"Don't Leave Me" is a drama that tackles a sensitive topic: child pornography. The protagonist, Elena Zonin, is a deputy commissioner of the Central Operations Service in Rome, investigating cybercrimes, particularly crimes against children. She follows, with a passion bordering on obsession, investigations into the disappearance of minors. A new case, linked to an investigation she's been working on for some time, takes her to Venice, the city of her youth, which she fled twenty years earlier. There, she reunites with Daniele, her great love who became a deputy commissioner of the police, and Giulia, her best friend, now Daniele's wife.
The investigations are set against the backdrop of Venice, with its historic buildings, narrow streets, canals, and lagoon, as well as some areas of the Po Delta, which offer insights into the region and its natural beauty.
In September, on the occasion of the 78th Venice International Film Festival, the Veneto Film Commission hosted the presentation of the series with Maria Pia Ammirati – Director of Rai Fiction, the director Ciro Visco and the protagonists.
