The Veneto Film Commission's video is finally ready, previewed exclusively during the meetings held at the Veneto Region / Veneto Film Commission Space at the 79th Venice International Film Festival – la Biennale di Venezia. It is now online on the film commission's YouTube channel.
Made by an animation genius: Donato Sansone, with sound design by Enrico Ascoli, Veneto like in a film It's a journey through the skies of Veneto, but it's also much more. Enjoy!
Artist's Notes
The Video Veneto, like in a film It is created using a video collage technique in the style of a split screen, using pre-existing footage manipulated to create a narrative sense. "Veneto is a diverse and beautiful region," says the artist, "and I tried to capture it in this short one-minute work, and the device is the journey of birds that cross the region's skies from one landscape to another." The final touch that further enhances the work is provided by the sound design by musician Enrico Ascoli.
